When we started shipping CURE to Canada, we expected people to use it as a face and hand moisturizer. That's what it's designed for. What we didn't expect was how creative Canadians would get with it.
1. Mixed with SPF in the morning
Several customers mix a small amount of CURE 2X Cream with their morning sunscreen before applying. The balm texture blends smoothly and adds a layer of moisture protection underneath the SPF — particularly useful in spring and fall when UV is still significant but the air is already dry.
2. On lips overnight
The 2X formula is thick enough to work as an overnight lip treatment. A tiny amount before bed — smaller than a pea — is enough to wake up with noticeably softer lips. Several customers in Alberta and Saskatchewan have started doing this as standard practice from October through March.
3. On cuticles and nail beds
Dry Canadian winters are particularly hard on cuticles. The concentrated aloe formula absorbs quickly enough that you don't feel like you've coated your hands in grease, but provides enough moisture to stop the cracking and peeling that most hand creams can't fully address.
4. After sun exposure in summer
Aloe's natural soothing properties make it just as valuable in summer as winter. Applied after sun exposure — even without a burn — it helps calm any redness and prevent the tightness that comes from a long day outside.
5. On elbows and knees
A small amount of 2X Cream massaged into elbows and knees before bed makes a noticeable difference within a few days. These are the areas most people forget about until the ashy, rough texture becomes impossible to ignore.
Both versions work for these uses — the 2X for targeted treatment on the driest areas, the 1X for daily all-over moisture.
